Do you have some type of disability, have a family member with a disability, or are you interested in learning about people with disabilities? DisabilityVoice wants to help you. DisabilityVoice, also known as DisabilityVoiceSpace, is dedicated to helping you. DisabilityVoice started under the premise that people with disabilities have trouble advocating for their needs and getting together to make public change. Legislators make decisions based on numbers of people wanting or needing a change in government policy. Therefore people with disabilities are underrepresented.
DisabilityVoice encourages advocacy for people with disabilities and helps find the information they need for living with a disability. DisabilityVoice is also working hard to provide you with original articles and current articles in the news relating to people with disabilities. As people with disabilities and friends of people with disabilities we all need to do what we can. DisabilityVoice makes this easier by helping anyone create a FREE webpage for the purpose of promoting the cause of people with disabilities socially, politically, or for public change. So basically anything helping people with disabilities entitles you to a FREE webpage We Help You create. And if you are someone with a disability then, I am sure you have some issues in your life you would like to change. The DisabilityVoice discussion forum gives people a place to discuss many issues relating to people with disabilities. (Not forbidding talking about the weather).
If you do not want a free webpage, then there are many ways you can help people with disabilities. The easiest way for you to help people with disabilities, which if you have a disability is helping yourself, is by helping DisabilityVoice. For instance, if you know of anyone with a disability with a cause please let DisabilityVoice know about it. You can also let DisabilityVoice know about anything in the news relating to people with disabilities. Timothy A Carey understands many of the needs of people with disabilities because he has a disability caused by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He received a grant from www.dawninfo.org to create DisabilityVoice through his web development business Golden Fire Computer Productions to help people with disabilities get into advocacy.
